The Restaurant at the Relais

The restaurant of Relais dei Magi offers a refined à la carte menu. Few dishes, changing every day to accompany your weekends or your holidays in Umbria. It has a scenic terrace looking out towards Lake Trasimeno: it is the perfect scenario for romantic dinners or evenings with friends. 

Our menu is based essentially on the outstanding tastes and perfumes of the traditional food of the regions Umbria and Tuscany, such as the black truffle and the saffron of Città della Pieve, a spice which is grown in Umbria since 13th Century.

At the  Relais  all dishes are prepared using seasonal and fresh ingredients, bought wherever possible from local supplier following our KM0 policy. 

Breakfast and main meals can be served directly in your Suite during service hours and by reservation.

Our specialties

The chef prepares the menu including fish, meat, and vegetable options. The most famous pasta dish is the home-made “umbricelli”; unmissable among main dishes are: “selvaggina” with fresh vegetables, beefsteak with aromatic herbs, stewed boar and filet of Perch of Lake Trasimeno. Pasta and desserts are home-made following ancient traditional receipts. 

Our wine list includes approx. 30 labels and it is mainly based on local producers.

With the special service “Choose your preferred wine”, you can book in advance your most preferred Italian wines from a selection of 400 labels of wines from all over Italy, making your choice memorable. Would you like to discover local experiences?
