The Restaurant at the Relais

The Relais dei Magi restaurant offers a refined traditional menu. A few dishes, carefully selected, to accompany your weekends in Umbria or extended stays. It has a large panoramic terrace overlooking Lake Trasimeno: the ideal setting for romantic dinners and event evenings for small groups.

Our menu tells of the aromas and flavours of the extraordinary Umbrian-Tuscan culinary tradition, such as black truffles and saffron from Città della Pieve, a very pure spice that has been cultivated in Umbria since the 13th century, specialities of the area. 

At the Relais all dishes are made with seasonal raw materials, selected daily and purchased where possible from local suppliers following our KM0 policy.

Breakfast and main meals can be served privately in your Suite during service hours upon reservation.

Menu and Wines

The chef prepares the menu including fish, meat, and vegetable options. The most famous pasta dish is the home-made “umbricelli”; unmissable among main dishes are: “selvaggina” with fresh vegetables, beefsteak with aromatic herbs, stewed boar and filet of Perch of Lake Trasimeno. Pasta and desserts are home-made following ancient traditional receipts. 

Our wine list includes approx. 30 labels and it is mainly based on local producers.
