Relais Dei Magi

The Relais dei Magi is a  Country House in Città della Pieve on the border between Umbria and  Tuscany. Its name is inspired by the famous masterpiece of the painter Perugino “L’Adorazione dei Magi” (Adoration of the Magi), which is exhibited in Città della Pieve. Our Country Relais offers the charm of a traditional Country House: 12 spacious Suites most of which have an exclusive and private terrace, with stylish and elegant furnitures for a modern comfort.

It is surrounded by 70 hectares of olive trees, woods and meadows and it is the ideal destination for a romantic escape in Umbria, a food &wine weekend with friends or a family vacation with kids over 12 years: a real oasis of peace and relax. Here you can enjoy complete relax near the swimming pool or a full immersion in nature walking around the Relais in full privacy.

We offer our Guests also touristic and food and wine experiences such us tastings of regional products, cooking lessons and guided trekking near the Relais.

Our Values

The solar system covers 50% of our energy needs. We limit the use of plastic as much as possible and we follow procedures for the reduction of food waste. We use seasonal and fresh food products following the concept of “zero food-miles” and we select our suppliers taking into consideration their care for the environment. 

Paolo and Bambi, landlords at Relais dei Magi in Città della Pieve, welcome personally all Guests, assisting and helping them for any need inside and outside the Relais. What can we see in this area? What activity can we do? Upon request bespoken programs and activities can be arranged for every Guest.
